Dr. Mike Salahshurian was a pharmacist before God called him into the ministry. Through his knowledge of God’s Word, he now dispenses medicine for the soul. In 1981, Pastor Mike was saved while visiting a Baptist Church in Broomfield. Since then, he holds double Master degrees in Bible and Religious Education from Bethany Divinity College & Seminary. From the same school he has also completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Religion.

Dr. Mike retired on June 26, 2011 from full-time employment at Northside and is now Associate Pastor Emeritus. For many years he was involved in teaching at Northside Baptist Institute, filling the roles of both teacher and president. Mike also faithfully taught an Adult Sunday School Class for many years. He is known for linking verses across the Bible, which adds breadth to his teaching.

Dr. Salahshurian has long been concerned about the doctrinal error of cults. He has authored several tracts and pamplets that deal with various groups that operate in our area. Be sure to visit his literature table in the church lobby.
